Alahai bazar Ramadhan.

Alhamdulillah. Ramadhan Kareem datang lagi and im breathing still to grab this opportunity. As for me what excited most during this month, other than the ibadah, rewards and etc, is the bazar ramadhan. I love bazar ramadhan. The food, the smoke, the ambience, people buzzling looking for food, they are just so exciting. 

Bazar ramadhan makes me to be a bit more energetic in the evening after the whole day of fasting. I used to go bazar ramadhan since i was a small kid. Sometimes only to buy one lauk or one type of kuih. But thats worth it.

However, since 2009, my interest for bazar ramadhan dropped off. The reason is there is no exciting of bazar ramadhan in this state. i think i can generalize as that. Ive been living in two different town in two different part of the state. And both places didnt offer good bazar Ramadhan. Jauh sangat kalau nak dibandingkan dengan semenanjung. 

This year is the first time im fasting here. Yesterday, we eagerly went out heading to bazar around our place looking for only one additional lauk. Since ive cooked some at home. We went to 4 bazar and ended up with only a bag of laicikang and isi ketam goreng. Yups so frustrating.

Moral of the story is better cook at home. Owh how i miss bazar ramadhan at home!

The getaway.

We'll spend a night here tonight. 

My baby is already sleeping and now i can write :). Husband went out with my brother for a late-night movie. The initial plan is i go with them but Muizz seems a bit upset after a long day on the road, been here and there shopping and sight seeing, so better that i stay.

My parent with three of my siblings are here for four days. And today we drove here and stay a night. Will go back Beaufort tomorrow. Muizz is very happy and excited with my family around. Before this senyap je rumah, bila dah ramai and riuh suka sangat lah die.

Saturday.

Last saturday was our first formal outing with Muizz. We were so worried about bringing Muizz jalan-jalan and we were even considering to leave him with the nanny on the weekend. Tapi sampai bila kan. So, we planned to train him and took the risks bringing him to kk. It went on smoothly during the journey since he slept all the way in the car. Remember the pricey yet comfortable carseat that we bought him?

 After hour and half journey, we reached the first destination. Mothercare and Kids Avenue at Harbour City. This is actually the main reason we went to kk. I need to get few pillows and feeding stuff for Muizz.

He woke up as we parked the car. ;). The next destination is 1B. Mummy needs to do some shopping! Otw to 1B, we were surprised to see many cars lined up going to the same direction. Oh my, why so jammed? Then, i saw this banner.

I got so excited!!! This was the first time the expo was held in Sabah. Before this i've read in many blogs and fb about the excitement of parents, how cheap the stuff are, the varieties you can choose etc. I cant contain my excitement. As we get close to 1B, we can see that cars are parked on the other side of the road and more cars are queuing to enter the carpark area. People are spilling from every direction. Why so many people ni?? It's been long that we didnt go to kk and this made me feel really worried about Muizz. What will happen inside there. With that amount of people, the situation must be crowded and noisy. Hmm.

After parking, we went inside; husband pushing Muizz in the stroller.

This is the first time we used the stroller, fully. The last time was at the airport otw back to Sabah which was month ago. And the experience was not good since Muizz cried everytime we put him inside. This time, he behaved well. Alhamdulillah. Mummy able to do shopping yeay! He was a little bit cranky for a while that husband has to dukung him. Tapi tak lama. 

Then we off for lunch at Chicken Rice Shop. Lama dah teringin!

 Alhamdulillah. The next stop is the expo.

Dynas, the celebrity was talking at the stage, sharing her experience of being a mother. As we walked inside, we can see that there were still many people.

In less than 10 minutes, we finished walking around the area. So, what did i get? Frustration yes. It didnt come up as what i expected to be. Perhaps, this was the first time. The only booth they got were Anmum, Jacobs (i think), Dynas booth, Breasfeeding peer and booth about kids' education and few more i didnt really bother. Hmmm. Penat je excited lebih. So we left there empty handed. 

Muizz was already dozing off this time. We were amaze on how good he behaved and he also slept well, didnt cry at all.

Our worries are now gone and yeay we can now bring Muizz jalan-jalan. Most importantly is to bring the stroller along and he will sleep soundly. We made the right decision of buying the stroller. Double happy. Muizz happy, mummy worries zero.

At my school. Husband got sekolah ganti so not able to join us. Suka lah Muizz ramai yang dukung die. Mummy lagi suka hati boleh makan banyak dan senang hati macam orang takde anak hehe. Adalah dalam 3 kali trip ke meja amik makanan.

Makanan banyak dan sedap-sedap. Tapi suasana agak hambar. Take the food, duduk dalam kelompok kawan-kawan, eat sambil dengar lagu raya. And the worst part is, masih awal lagi, a group of 'guest' (all guests are teachers and school's stuff) dah mula packing makanan put into plactic bags. For me, that was not a good view to see since people are still eating and they may have few trips to tambah the food ehem-ehem. And i think there are few guests who are still not coming. 

Once people start packing food, semua pun berduyyun lah packing jugak. Bertungkus-lumus. I sempat ambil nasi tomato and 2 pieces of ayam merah for husband. Cukup-cukup je lah ambil, kenapa nak ambil banyak. Nanti membazir je. Also i packed home sate yang tak sempat nak habiskan. Then, kemas-kemas balik.

Hmmm. Hambar sangat.

Cranky little boy.

Muizz needs to do a passport to go Sabah with me after raya. So today we went to snap passport photo for him. He was cranky all the way from home, refused to sleep. By the time my sister parked the car, i was still breastfeeding him and we waited in the car for about 10 minutes for him to doze off. But his eyes were still wide open.

Tak kan nak balik rumah semula kan. After dah pujuk-pujuk, he's a bit calm and off we walk to the photo shop. We were lucky because there's no other customer at that time. 

Alhamdulillah. Muizz was behaving well these few minutes. 

After 3 clicks, i chose the most decent photo, he started to get cranky again. Oh boy! The original plan to go supermarket to buy stuff to bake cookies and cake was cancelled. My Muizz needed his daily sleeping dosage.

After waiting 5 minutes, we got his first ever passport photo.

Now, we have the photo, the next visit is to make his passport that i have to bring him along too. Pheww, hope he will behave tomorrow.

But the thing that i really worried this time is bringing him inside the plane. I cant imagine if he's cranky at that time. Muizz sayang, mummy hopes you behave well nanti ok. Be soleh-soleh je. Kesian mummy if you are cranky all the time. 

Well, today my Muizz turn 2-month old! :D

Eqypt picasa.

We spent 4 days in Egypt visiting the pyramid, buying a jubah at cotton factory, spending lavishly at perfume and crystal factory (erk!), travelling 2 hours to Alexandria, visiting the ever-known Alexandria Library, eating lavishly on strawberries!!! (indeed the most exciting and delicious thing to do).

Well, strawberries are only 3 egyption dollar per-kilo which after coverted to RM is RM1.50. Moreover, the taste is super-sweet!!! Not like the ones we have in Cameron Highlands. We stayed at a quite a-hotel which i can say it's 3 star especially for the food! Seriously delicious.

A supposed to be short transit in Bangkok turned up to be a long one. We have to get down the plane, find the correct gate with not so many sign posts that we actually can understand, and go through a very strict custom clearance. The man have to take off the shoes, belt, kopiah and everything that is attached to body. Except for the clothes.

Alhamdulillah for the opportunity and thank you Mak and ayah for sponsoring this trip to us. Btw, it was supposed to be our wedding present- honeymoon. But it turned out to be babymoon. :)

Healthy and kicking at 24th weeks in Cairo, Eqypt.

A day at the airport.

Travelled home for raya. it was a very long day for both of us. The journey started at KK airport at 9 am and we finally reached home in Besut at 10.30 pm. It's a long day really. Bumped into Hafiz and family at KLIA. First time jumpa Alisa. Not Expected. We gonna have a short raya this year, but a slong as we have each other, so no probs.

Gambar yang tunjuk jari tu nak tunjuk inai masih ada on the 3rd month of our wedding day! It's been 3 whole months. Seriously how time flies so fast. =)

Btw, Selamat menyambut hari raya Aidilfitri buat semua. Pohon maaf semua salah dan silap semoga semuanya bergembira.

Once upon a time,

on sunday. Bangun pagi-pagi terus teringat Mcd. Best nye bleh breakfast Mcd ni. owh. Terus mandi get dressed and zoomed to airport.

Yesza! Breakfast di Mcd u'olls. Burpp Alhamdulillah.

Because this was a sunday morning, so we terus ke Gaya Street. Tamu Gaya Steet ni glemor la among people who live in KK dan jugak ramai tourist. I pun tourist kan? :p

Tak sah kalau gi pasar tak beli gula kapas. Siap duduk di kaki lima depan bank apa ntah. Keletihan dan kepanasan. KK sanagt sesak on that day. Maybe because it's a day before Muslims fasting month. So basically, we walked a lot that day. We parked the car at Plaza Warisan (if im not mistaken), then we walked to the ever famous Pasar Filipin and Plaza Rakyat (?). A very long journey and scorching hot sun.

Jalan-jalan sekitar KK. Tobat lah tak akan buat lagi lepas ni.
