I want changes.

i am easily bored with things. a lot of things. frankly speaking, i am also easily bored with people that i know. especially friends. new friends that use to be strangers before lah. the one that i got to be close in short time.

that is why i think i don't really have a bunch of close friends. i have a few. but too few.

boyfriend? yes. i do feel bored with it ('it' kah?) too. but not this one. i mean the one that i am with right now. he might be very lucky i reckon.

how about routine? i love routine. indeed routine makes my life organized. and i love to see my life organized. i am not an organized person. but i am trying to be one.

I am not good with strangers.

there are times when i feel like don't want to talk to anyone including the people that i know.

situation 1
i was on a flight from kl to twu recently. a guy was sitting next to me at the window seat. as soon as i fastened my seatbelt i reached for my book and started to read. as the flight embarked, no one sat beside me (the aisle seat). so basically, only 2 of us were sitting on the 3 seats. i was sitting on the middle seat.

and he opened his mouth.

"tinggal di sana ke belajar?"
"ehm. kerja." (back to my reading)

"oo. kerja apa?"
"ehm. cikgu" (back to my reading)

"oo. orang semenanjung ke orang sana?"
"ehm... semenanjung." (cant you see i am not interested to talk?)

"oo. lama dah di sana? best tak duk sana? ok ke sabah. ni kali pertama saya ke sana."
" ehm. ok je. sama ngn semenanjung." (please. no more after this)

then, he might get the point that i don't want to continue this small talk. then, after a while, before he opened his mouth again, i stood up and went to the toilet. just to wash my hands. after i got back, i sat on the aisle seat. so the middle seat was now empty. and obviously, he wouldn't try to talk to me again.

situation 2
i went to a carwash one evening. there were 3 cars including mine. one makcik and one brother was waiting for their cars. then, i walk to the waiting area and sat a bit far from them. the makcik was sitting in the middle. of me and the brother.

and she opened her mouth.

"bagus kan kat sini. cepat. pernah ndak pegi basuh di XYZ carwash kat bandar sana?"

the brother looked at me hoping that i will respond to the makcik. i didn't look at him. i just played with my keys. looking no where.

then, the brother responded.

"kat mana tu?"

"dekat jalan PQRS. ramai orang basuh di sana. saya pun selalu basuh di sana. tapi lambat sangat. orang ramai.."
"owh.. ye ke. tak pernah pulak saya ke sana."

she continued.
" saya selalu basuh kat sana. pekerja dia ramai. tapi lama nk kene tunggu. kalau nak cepat memang x boleh la.."
"owh.. ya ka.."

she continued lagi.
" harga sama je dengan sini. tapi beratur panjang lah. ye lah. tempat bagus kan. semua pun nak pergi"
"boleh la pegi jugak nanti. cuba kt sana plak"

she continued. lagi.
"tinggal kat mana?"
"taman ABC."

and bla bla bla bla.

i just sat there. playing with my keys hoping that my car will be the 1st to finish.

i am just not good with strangers. everytime i travelled alone, by bus or plane, i will pray that the person sitting next to me is also my type- doesn't like to talk to strangers.

i think i am a good daughter. because when i was a kid, my mother used to say- do not talk to strangers. and i do. till now.

i really hate strangers who love to talk.

so, keep the distance please. because i don't know you.

Aduh. sakitnya!

pagi tadi aku menyertai acara kemuncak bagi SOT ke-11. iaitu acara 8 x 50 M acara guru dan kakitangan.

i was the last runner and guess what? i pecut-ed so fast and overtook the woman who ran in front of me. dengan sorakan satu stadium, aku berjaya menghabiskan larian di tempat pertama!!!

and diving on the track!!!

imagine what i feel. gile sakit and obviously, malu bah... depan sume students and teachers.

and i don't have my transcript. ok. i paraphrase it. i'm never received my transcript from vuw. yet.

The screen girl.

that is maybe what can i call myself for the Sinar Obor Tekn*k kali ke-11 2009. it's held for 2 days- today and tomorrow in Kompl*ks Sukan Tawau.

so, what is my task on these 2 days?

i am responsible for the giant screen yang ditayangkan di stadium. at first, my name was under papan markah. then it's moved to the statistik. and when i went there this morning, i just knew that my task is to take care of the screen. apa-apa nak ditayangkan from the senarai peserta to the keputusan pemenang, it's on there.

it's not an easy task. i need to create the box one by one manually alligning them to fit in the content. it's a quite a meticulous task but i'm ok with it. initially, i was assigned this task with another colleague. but since i'm younger than her and i'm the one who learn everything from the person who takes care of this screen thingy, so i don't mind doing it on my own.

indeed i am enjoying it.
can you see the giant screen at the back there? with the red-orangeish font color? that's what i do. hehe.i never expect that i will do this job. sebelum ni tgk kt tv je masa sukan olimpik la etc. and now i am doing it!

so, the bonus of it is i'm safe from the face-burnt skin. i'just sit in the air-conditioned room from early morning till the end of the day. yeay yeah!

this is actually my first time to not be on the field during sporst day. usually i'm the one who will be on the track (running. yes) and on the podium as well. hehe.

The call.

it is a very sharp pain down there starting since yesterday afternoon. i cant even sleep well last night. this is not the severity or mild annoyance but this is very severe pain. that interferes my normal activities.

it is monthly call but never it happened during school days. maybe im not this lucky this month.

how can i enter the class with this pain?

this is perhaps a real challenge for a career woman to endure once a month. the one that you can't escape from.

friends do say that i look slimmer now. and i've never realize i am this th*n until i look at my reflection in this mirror yesterday at a shop.

i think i am going to buy this mirror lah.
