Siang pun dah tak cerah lagi.

Musim tengkujuh datang lagi. These are the days that you feel like don't want to wake up from sleep all day. Sejuk je. It reminds me of the poem 'Monsoon History' that will not be taught next year. The most important thing is, it reminds me of the literature books that I haven't read just yet. Owh, tekanan.

I taught Form 5 students this year. Yes they are my first SPM babies. I taught 4 classes, equals to 80 teenagers. Yes, it's a small number but still the challenge is very huge. There were times that they totally ignored me in class. What a day!

Time pergi hantar makanan to my sister who is staying at hostel for SPM exam.

Now, back to the topic. Since I wake up this morning, the weather has not been on our side. It's been raining all day. Kain yang semalam pun belum kering, dah kene jemur kain hari ini. The worst scenario is, hujan-hujan begini memang perut pun berperangai la. Asyik lapar je tak keruan.

Jadi, tadi pagi triffle siap dibuat. Ini kali pertama membuat triffle di rumah. Cuma kali ini instead of using the fresh cream as the topping, I use strawberry jelly.

Hari ini mak buat laksa lemak untuk menghabiskan baki laksa semalam. Memang lazat. For lunch, mak masak asam pedas ikan terubuk dan daging goreng kunyit. :)

Now we have unlimited internet access (wireless) at home.

Begitulah kurang lebih nya nak beritahu.

Jadi sekarang saya sedang baring sambil melayari internet, di katil sendiri, di bilik sendiri dan di rumah sendiri. Terasa agak pelik la sebenarnya. Tak pernah ada internet begini rupa sebelum ini. Sebelum ini kalau online mesti di cyber cafe atau di office adik. Takpun biasa nya di tempat kerja, nun jauh di Bawah bayu.

Kakak saya yang tersayang la punya kerja ni. Terus tersayang! (:p). Sekarang sudah nampak tanda-tanda budak dalam rumah ni tak akan turun dari rumah langsung. Semenjak saya pulang ke kampung pertengahan November lepas, tidak pernah nampak adik-adik ku keluar dari rumah untuk beriadah. Pendek kata, semua tak pernah berpeluh. Pendek kata lagi, bulan November semua berkampung di dalam rumah. Sampai ke tahap kene halau, baru nak turun naik beskal seminit 2.

Selama ini, semua berperang mahu main game di laptop atau main PS3 atau berebut channel TV. Tetapi mulai saat ini semua mengadap laptop. Buat masa ini, ada 3 laptop di rumah. Walaupun begitu, still mahu berebut. Nampaknya, bila dapat tunggakan BISP (pray hard) tahun depan, nak kene beli laptop peribadi yang baru. Bertambah jadi 4. :)

Owh kenapa sampai 3? Satu hak milik abang ipar yang menjadi milik semua. Lagi dua sumbangan Ke*jaan Trg kepada kami. Kan pelajar Darjah 5 dapat e-book masing-masing. heh heh.

Begitulah kurang lebih nya nak beritahu.

Pagi tadi pasar pagi kuala. Ramai nya orang. Berjalan bersentuh-sentuhan sampai kaki yang pakai stokin pun rasa tidak terlindung. Aish. Memang tak best. Tetapi kerana mu 'etok', ku redah jua. Ini dia gambar 'etok' yang disebut.

Harga nya singgit! Sangat-sangat mahal. Ingat lagi, kalau dulu, sebanyak ini hanya 30 sen sahaja. Gula-gula pun ada yang sebiji 30 sen sekarang. Patut lah semua manusia zaman ini mengejar duit, bukan nya mengejar akhirat. Nauzubillah.

Sambil meredah lautan manusia, sempat juga saya merembat 1 blause panjang. Berwarna biru tua. Masa nak tanya adik penjual, dalam hati dah set, kalau die cakap RM30, aku nak tawar RM25. Takpun RM28.

"Berapa ni dik?"
"16 kak"
" hah? (buat-buat terkejut. Padahal memang terkejut gila!)
"15 la dik" kata ku.
"ok"

Begitulah kurang lebih perbualan kami dan alhamdulillah syukur nikmat, saya berjaya merembat 1 blause yang sangat menarik dengan harga RM15. Bukan senang nak dapat kat tempat lain.

Hari ini mak masak Laksa penang. Sangat lazat. Jemput makan.

Here it comes again.

"See see. I told you..."

Well you are most welcomed to say that to me. I've been having this again.

This time it's not belacan. But i experimentally tried a new recipe for my colek buah. This time i use pure dried shrimp. i fried it a while then tumbuk fresh-fresh by using the lesung. It's never occured (i forgot about it) to me though that i have this bad allergic to them. I mean not at that time i made it. And of course without delay i terus rasmi enjoying my new recipe.

and then the day after that. Nothing happened to me. Well, not just yet.

The next night nak dijadikan cerita, i made seafood fritters. i used all the balance of shrimp and squids in the freezer. i'm going hometown in 2 weeks, so i have to finish all the frozen things in the fridge first. Then, goreng them and happily enjoyed the fritters. lalala~

And after 2 days IT came!!!

Bermula dengan gatal-gatal hidung yang sangat tidak tahan. At that time then i recalled back:

"Apa yang aku makan sampai gatal sangat hidung ku ni??"

Still haven't realized it tu. Then all the experiment recipes now come to mind. Consequently i'm having a really bad flu right now. It's been 3 days and it seems to not get any better. I have been coughing non-stop too. Bonus!?

Plus plus, last night i cant really sleep due to the nose blocking (?), i accidentally twist my neck and dang!! Tersalah bantal. Ouch Ouch. Double bonus. And based on my experience, this will later leads to a really bad migraine and fever.

And i have Oscar Night event tomorrow.

And it's in air-conditioned hotel ballroom.

Another bad news. Today i learnt that my holiday application mungkin tidak akan diluluskan.

The only good news is esok cuti.

Yang ditunggu-tunggu akhirnya tiba.

I've been indulged in the online shopping (as buyers) for quite some times. And there were times that i was really really into it. These 3 items were among it. It's been almost 4 months since i make the payment and i received it yesterday!!!

OMG, as if finally!!
I super-love the bags. The quality is tip top. Really worth the waiting. They are from this shop. I don't really know what happened but seems like they misplaced my order or something. Well i don't really mind it late as long as i get it at last. Better late than never right.

Moreover, i'm not the kind of customer who got angry easily perhaps. Precisely, i will shop with her again i think.

Hari ni hari ke-2 mengqada puasa. InsyaAllah di kuatkan semangat sampai waktu berbuka. Alhamdulillah waktu berbuka awal, jam 6.04 petang. Semalam hari pertama. Badan agak kelembikkan. Jadi masak ala kadar je. Menu semalam cuma ikan goreng, tempoyak dan kerabu udang bersama paku-pakis.

Perasaan mahu masak pun ala kadar. Jadi hasilnya pun ala-ala je. Kerabu tak berapa menjadi. Termasam lah pulak. Biasa la, nama pun puasa. Tak boleh nak menerai-nerai.

Plan mahu pergi sahur (supper) di Pizza Hut. Tup tup kene cancel. Atas masalah teknikal. Mungkin malam ni akan zoooom terus ke pizza.

Hari ni menu berbuka hanya simple. Nasi planta, ayam goreng dan sambal udang. Tidak dilupa tempoyak berlada ulam timun.

Dalam fikiran dan ikutkan nafsu, banyak menu yang belum di cuba. Antaranya:

1- Asam pedas ikan
2- Gulai tempoyak ikan
3- Ketam bercili
3- Fish grilled with white sauce

Haih. Kalau puasa ni nafsu membuak-buak.

It's never my problem to think actually.

I've never meant to think about it. But it's just there, lingering around in my head like i have nothing else to think of. i haven't been feeling well this few days. Im not being grumpy no. Since i don't really know how to be one. I talk less yes. I smile yes, with my lips. Friends can tell that i don't really mean my smile. My eyes don't smile. Pandai-pandai je derang ni.

Frankly, i don't have any idea how to describe my feeling right now. Well, i'm never good in describing my feeling in words really.

This time i felt helpless. There's nothing i can do to change the things that i don't want it to be in the current state. It's when i know i have no power to change it, then i become what i am right now. i prefer to be on my own. i stay in my room a lot these days, trying to busy myself; mostly not thinking so much.

i rarely spend time in front of the tv these days. It's wierd really because watching tv is my all-time-favourite hobby. i will, but when im alone at home. Once the housemates are in, i will shut myself in my room. It makes me feel better though. Because i don't think i will speak to anyone of them in the house. So, to spare the guilty feeling of not talking to them, makes me stay in the room all the time.

Perhaps we have tiny problem at home. The misunderstanding. Well, we don't talk that much, so that's maybe where the problem arises. However, that is not the big issue here in my head. It's my personal life.

And i don't know how to describe it here. Since i think it's not really my problem. It's no use to keep whining about something that have nothing to do with you. Im trying to reason with myself now.

No no.

The real reason i don't write 'them' here is because im too ashamed and embarrassed to write it here.

Im going nowhere with this entry. I better stop.

Bahan-bahan nya ialah;

sila rujuk di sini.Hasilnya:

Sushi isi ketam + mayonis + cucumber stick.
Sushi tuna pedas + cucumber stick.
Sushi tuna mayonis + cucumber stick.

Fruitatalatata Triffle.

Bahan-bahan:

sponge cake (i use pandan sponge cake beli di Giant)
jem strawberry
1 tin susu ideal
1 tin air
1/2 tin gula
2 sudu tepung kastard
250g fresh cream
buah dalam tin (boleh guna buah apa2 pun)

Lapisan paling bawah.
- Susun sponge cake yang telah dipotong cube memenuhi lapisan dasar. Sapu atas kek dengan lapisan jem strawberi. Saya blend air yang dalam tin buah buahan dengan jem strawberri supaya jadi cair. Senang nak sapu/ tuang.

Lapisan ke- 2.
- Didih 1 tin susu cair ideal, 1 tin air, 1/2 tin gula pasir. Menggelegak, masuk 2 sudu tepung kastard (yang dibancuh dengan 1/2 cawan air). Sejuk kan. Tuang separuh.

Lapisan ke- 3.
- Putar 250 g fresh cream hingga kembang. Tuang separuh atas lapisan kastard. Tabur/ susun buah.

Lapisan ke- 4.
- Baki kastard.

Lapisan ke- 5.
- Baki fresh cream.
Tabur baki buah on top and chill in the fridge for one night. And ENJOICE~

I used to be a passionate user of body lotion. Selepas mandi mesti apply. I used to buy the lotion once a month. But nowadays i think i've been too Lazy to apply the lotion anymore. i even don't quite remember when was the last time i bought a bottle.

hmmm...

i have sensitive skin. And everytime i feel gatal-gatal di badan, i'll start to blame myself why la i'm too lazy to apply the lotion. And will promise to myself to apply it after mandi nanti. But still i don't. Well, typical me.

hmmm...

Come on sd. Rajin-rajinkanlah diri mu.

The Special Eid.

As usual, i woke up on the first Eid (even) with lazy feeling. It's 6.30 in the morning. i sat on my bed thinking "Why do i need to wake up early today.. Can i sleep some more?". Reluctantly, i opened my eyes. Mak's bebelan has been waking me up since 5.30 am. Sometimes i wonder where does she get such energy since she was among the last to sleep last night.

It was like any normal day for me. I woke up, grabbed my tudung and went straight to the sitting room. It's the final check to make sure everything is ready for guest to come later. Nothing special really, except for takbir berkumandang di Radio Kelantan mak sayup-sayup dari dapur.

Wearing new baju kurung also is not a special thing for me. As a teacher, almost every month i buy a new baju kurung. Sometimes it's more than one. This year, we were among the earliest to arrive at the nearby surau. What a shocking fact! After got back from surau, this is the moment (for me) is the special occasion of eid.

We gathered at the sitting room, the whole siblings. And for the record, i have 8 siblings. This year, my sister is celebrating the eid with us, so it's complete set. This is the moment when we queued up to salam and ask forgiveness from my parents especially. This is the moment when tears are easily fall down the cheek. i dont know why, it's just happen. Every year!

We asked forgiveness from each other. Really pouring out what we felt about each other, and we hug tightly.

Yes, it's really a sad but meaningful moment. And for me, although i don't really like the fact that i cried and it ruined my make-up (hehe), but that is always the moment that i wait for each time the eid comes.

That moment makes my eid to be special.

Sedekah di Bulan Ramadhan.

Hari ini sudah hari ke 14 berpuasa. Alhamdulillah. Belum lagi rongak puasa saya. Tapi dengan tak malu nya jugak mengaku sudah rongak terawikh. Adoi. Ini memang salah sendiri. Mengaku. Biasa lah, walaupun syaitan di ikat, tetapi M huruf besar bermaharajalela di dalam diri bila perut sudah penuh terisi.

Macam semalam, selepas magrib terus terlelap. Terbangun untuk Isya' alhamdulillah. Itupun sebab berpeluh kepanasan. Begini lah situasinya bila tinggal sendiri. Kalau bersama family mesti takde can nak skip terawikh. hihi.

2 malam lepas, saya dan housemate ke terawikh. Dan betapa alhamdulillah rajin sket kami malam itu, membuat keputusan untuk buat 20. Selepas 8, jemaah mula berpusu-pusu keluar meninggalkan masjid. Pastu hujan turun. Kami meneruskan sehingga habis. Masa tu hanya tinggal 6 orang jemaah wanita. Alhamdulillah. Saya antara yang ber-6 itu.

Alkisahnya, keluar dari masjid, cari selipar tak ada. Memang dah rezeki orang yang ambil tu kut nak dapat selipar Jepun Giant. Semalam kan tak pergi masjid. Orang kata kalau selipar hilang, pergi esoknya, Insya-Allah orang yang ambil tu ahntar balik. Dia tak curi, pinjam je. hehe

Takpe lah. Saya sedekah je lah.

Selalunya orang sedekah duit. Tapi kali ni saya dengan rela hati sedekahkan selipar saya itu.

Sesudah 5 hari.

Today is already the 6th day of fasting. How fast time flies kan? Tengok-tengok nanti dah nak raya pun. ;)

Since the Holy Ramadhan came, belum lagi menjejak kaki ke bazar Ramadhan. Wow wow! But it's not that wow pun because the bazar in Twu is not as goooood as what we have in Semenanjung. I had this one experience last year; i went to bazar and returned home with only a plastic of water. Itu sahaja yang berkenan. Now you can guess what bazar here is like. Perhaps it does'nt suit my taste and my usual expectation of bazar Ramadhan. Perhaps.

So, bulan puasa tahun ini, I decided to cook on my own. So, we (me and the 2 roomates) buy things and cook. And it's soo much fun you know.

These are the homemade menu that we have:

1st day: Ikan masak pedas, udang goreng kunyit + sawi goreng telur.

2nd day: masak lemak ikan, ayam goreng + sayur campur udang.

3rd day: sayur lemak, udang sambal + ayam goreng.
4th day: We went out and have a big makan-makan together with Kak Ummi and Nett. (you may know them)

5th day: sayur lemak (hangatkan balik), ikan kukus goreng, sambal pedas bilis, ikan sardin, telur dadar + timun cicah tempoyak.
the 5th day lah satu2 nya hari kami ber-3 makan nasi bertambah-tambah. Penangan tempoyak tu... Fuhhh, sedap giler k! Lauk simple-simple je. Hopefully can give ideas for all of you to cook. Kueh nya adalah popia. Pun homemade. ;)
And today, tak tahu lagi mahu masak apa. Tapi dah lama berangan mahu buat kerabu sotong. Kene cari resepi dulu lah. Kepada sesiapa yang teringin mahu buat tempoyak, buleh tanya ye. Nanti saya bagitahu. Simple - simple aje.

Poso dok?

Semalam call rumah di negeri yang akan mengalami musim tengkujuh di bulan Disember nanti. Sempat bercakap dengan little woman at home. Umur nya sekarang 7 tahun. Bersamaan darjah 1. Call time is 4.30 pm. Berikut adalah perbualan kami:

Me: Adik poso dok?
Her: Poso lagi ni.
Me: Bagus adik ni.. Pukul brapo nk bukak poso?
Her: Kejap lagi lah. Sama lah ngan Kakda. Kakda buka jam brapo?
Me: 6.24. Best bukak awal dik. Sungguh pun. (provoke)
Her: Tak boleh. Mak cakap, kalu bukak poso awal berkawan ngn Saitan. Kak da jgn lah bukak awal.

Adoi doi.. Senyap terus 'Me'.
